MIE offers a variety of resources for administrators of legal aid, pro bono,
protection and advocacy, IOLTA, backup center, and other organizations in the legal services
community.
MIE's October 2002 National Conference for Legal Services Administrators was a great success,
bringing together 64 people from around the country to discuss leadership, technology, finance,
employment law, supervision, evaluation and more. The group also discussed ways MIE can increase
its support to administrators. Stay tuned here to see what develops. In the meantime, click on
the links below to view select materials from the conference.
As promised at the conference, we have put Patricia Pap's PowerPoint presentation,
"Managing Projects," into the Digital Library.
You can
view it on-line or download it from the library.
You can also get the 2002 National Conference for Legal Services Administrators "Program
Administration: Turning Chaos into Opportunity" Conference Notebook. This notebook includes
a description of conference sessions, list of participants and presenters, and materials from
most conference sessions. This notebook is available for $50 by writing to info(at)m-i-e.org.
Visit our e-library for many program policies and other materials of
importance to program administrators. Program administrators might find particularly useful many
of the materials in our personnel
section, the
collective bargaining agreement shelves, or the materials on
technology use policies.
Submit your best work to the MIE e-library to share with your colleagues.
