Supervising Legal Work - New England
With recruitment and retention ongoing challenges within the legal aid community, strong supervision and management skills are a must. This specially targeted Supervising Legal Work training meets these challenges head-on, outlining effective strategies for maximizing staff potential and legal work skills in the context of legal aid advocacy. Make giving feedback a more potent tool; further cultivate the professional development of new advocates; develop new management approaches that recognize the intricacies of legal work—all of this and more, from a time-tested training program developed over many years by MIE staff and volunteers nationally.
Who Should Enroll
This training, co-sponsored by CLAE and MIE, is designed for persons who are immediate super-visors of legal work, including managing and supervising attorneys, litigation directors and executive directors.
